【摘要】:Assumptions:Thewelldischargesataconstantrate.Wellisofinfinitesimaldiameterandisopenthroughthefullthicknessoftheaquifer.Thenonleakyconfinedaquiferishomogeneous,isotropic,andareallyextensiveexceptwherelimitedbylinearboundaries.Dischargefromthewellisderivedinitiallyfromstorageintheaquifer;later,movementofwatermaybeinducedfromaconstant-headboundaryintotheaquifer.ThegeometryoftheassumedaquiferandwellareshowninFig.1orFig.2.Boundariesareverticalplanes,infiniteinlengththatfullypenetratetheaquifer.Nowaterisyieldedtotheaquiferbyimpermeableboundaries,whereasrechargingboundariesareinperfecthydraulicconnectionwiththeaquifer.Observationwellsrepresenttheheadintheaquifer;thatis,theeffectsofwellborestorageintheobservationwellsarenegligible.ImplicationsofAssumptions:Implicitintheassumptionsaretheconditionsofafully-penetratingcontrolwellandobservationwellsofinfinitesimaldiameterinaconfinedaquifer.Undercertainconditions,aquifertestscanbesuccessfullyanalyzedwhenthecontrolwellisopentoonlypartoftheaquiferorcontainsasignificantvolumeofwaterorwhenthetestisconductedinanunconfinedaquifer.TheseconditionsarediscussedinmoredetailinTestMethodD4105.Incasesinwhichthistestmethodisusedtolocateanunknownboundary,aminimumofthreeobservationwellsisneeded.Ifonlytwoobservationwellsareavailable,twopossiblelocationsoftheboundaryaredefined,andifonlyoneobservationwellisused,acircledescribingallpossiblelocationsoftheimagewellisdefined.Theeffectsofaconstant-headboundaryareoftenindistinguishablefromtheeffectsofaleaky,confinedaquifer.Therefore,caremustbetakentoensurethatacorrectconceptualmodelofthesystemhasbeencreatedpriortoanalyzingthetest.SeeGuideD4043.1.1Thistestmethodcoversananalyticalprocedurefordeterminingthetransmissivity,storagecoefficient,andpossiblelocationofboundariesforaconfinedaquiferwithalinearboundary.Thistestmethodisusedtoanalyzewater-levelorheaddatafromoneormoreobservationwellsorpiezometersduringthepumpingofwaterfromacontrolwellataconstantrate.Thistestmethodalsoappliestoflowingartesianwellsdischargingataconstantrate.Withappropriatechangesinsign,thistestmethodalsocanbeusedtoanalyzetheeffectsofinjectingwaterintoacontrolwellataconstantrate.1.2TheanalyticalprocedureinthistestmethodisusedinconjunctionwiththefieldprocedureinTestMethodD4050.1.3Limitations8212;ThevaliduseofthistestmethodislimitedtodeterminationoftransmissivitiesandstoragecoefficientsforaquifersinhydrogeologicsettingswithreasonablecorrespondencetotheassumptionsoftheTheisnonequilibriummethod(seeTestMethodD4106)(see5.1),exceptthattheaquiferislimitedinarealextentbyalinearboundarythatfullypenetratestheaquifer.Theboundaryisassumedtobeeitheraconstant-headboundary(equivalenttoastreamorlakethathydraulicallyfullypenetratestheaquifer)orano-flow(impermeable)boundary(equivalenttoacontactwithasignificantlylesspermeablerockunit).TheTheisnonequilibriummethodisdescribedinTestMethodsD4105andD4106.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itisthere......
