【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemechanical,physicalandopticalcharacteristicsofanopticaldisk,identifiedasDVDRewritableDisk(DVD-RAM),toenableinterchangeofsuchdisks.Itspecifiesthequalityoftherecordedsignals,theformatofthedataandtherecordingmethod,therebyallowingforinformationinterchangebymeansofsuchdisks.Thedatacanbewritten,readandoverwrittenmanytimesusingthephasechangemethod.TwoTypesarespecifiedthatdifferonlybytheirdiameterof120mmand80mm,andtheresultingdifferenceofcapacity.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies?tworelatedbutdifferentTypesofthisdisk(seeclause7),?theconditionsforconformance,?theenvironmentsinwhichthediskistobetested,operatedandstored,?themechanical,physicalanddimensionalcharacteristicsofthedisk,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems,?theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectingcodesandthecodingmethod,?thecharacteristicsofthesignalsrecordedonthedisk,thusenablingdataprocessingsystemstoreadthedatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesfortheinterchangeofdisksbetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.TheopticaldisksspecifiedbythisInternationalStandardmaybeenclosedincasesaccordingtoISO/IEC17594asspecifiedtherein.
