【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesamethodofassessingthebehaviourofprotectionsleevesorconduitssubjecttoanexternalelectricarc,everat115Vacor230Vac400Hz.ThisEuropeanStandardshallbeusedtogetherwithEN6059-100.Theprimaryaimofthistestistoproduce,inacontrolledfashion,electricarcsattheimmediatevicinityofaprotectionsleeveorconduitandtoexaminepossibleconsequencesoncablesinsidethisprotection,whicharesupposedtobemaintainedinasafecondition.Theseelectricarcsarerepresentativeofthose,whichmayoccurinservicewhenatypicalcablebundleisseverelydamaged.Inordertooptimizethicknessandmassofsuchprotection,itisnecessarytoassociateacurrentlimitIntoeachsleevesorconduitsconstruction.Twolevelsofprospectivefaultcurrentarespecifiedforallprotectionsizes.
