【摘要】:Theboilingrangedistributionoflightandmediumpetroleumdistillatefractionsprovidesaninsightintothecompositionoffeedstocksandproductsrelatedtopetroleumrefiningprocess,Thisgaschromatographicdeterminationofboilingrangecanbeusedtoreplaceconventionaldistillationmethodsforcontrolofrefiningoperations.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforproductspecificationtestingwiththemutualagreementofinterestedparties.ThistestmethodextendsthescopeofboilingrangedeterminationbygaschromatographytoincludelightandmediumpetroleumdistillatefractionsbeyondthescopeofTestMethodD2887(538x00B0;C)andbelowTestMethodD6352(700x00B0;C).Boilingrangedistributionsobtainedbythistestmethodaretheoreticallyequivalenttothoseobtainedbytrueboilingpoint(TBP)distillation(seeTestMethodD2892).TheyarenotequivalenttoresultsfromlowefficiencydistillationsuchasthoseobtainedwithTestMethodD86orD1160.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofpetroleumproducts.Thistestmethodisapplicabletopetroleumdistillateshavinganinitialboilingpointgreaterthan100176;Candafinalboilingpointlessthan615176;Catatmosphericpressureasmeasuredbythistestmethod.1.2Thetestmethodisnotapplicableforanalysisofpetroleumdistillatescontaininglowmolecularweightcomponents(forexample,naphthas,reformates,gasolines,crudeoils).Materialscontainingheterogeneouscomponents(forexample,alcohols,ethers,acidsoresters)orresiduearenottobeanalyzedbythistestmethod.SeeTestMethodsD3710,D2887,D6352,orD5307.1.3Thistestmethodusestheprinciplesofsimulateddistillationmethodology.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
