【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthetotalvolatileorganicchloridesinconcentrationsfrom10to100ppminbutane-butenemixtures.Theamperometricfinishisnotdirectlyapplicableinthepresenceofothersubstancesthatcombinewithsilverionoroxidizechlorideionindiluteacidsolution.Bromides,sulfides,ammonia,tobaccosmoke,andmorethan25?gofhydrogenperoxideinthetestsolutioninterfereinthespectrophotometricprocedure.Dissolvedsodiumchlorideisnotquantitativelydeterminedusingthesetestmethods.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarningstatementsaregiveninSections5,8,11,14,19,andAnnexA1.
