【摘要】:ThispartofISO6980specifiesmethodsforthemeasurementofthedirectionalabsorbed-doserateinatissue-equivalentslabphantomintheISO6980referencebeta-particleradiationfields.Theenergyrangeofthebeta-particle-emittingisotopescoveredbythesereferenceradiationsis0,066to3,54MeV(maximumenergy).Radiationenergiesoutsidethisrangearebeyondthescopeofthisstandard.Whilemeasurementsinareferencegeometry(depthof0,07mmatperpendicularincidenceinatissue-equivalentslabphantom)withareferenceclassextrapolationchamberaredealtwithindetail,theuseofothermeasurementsystemsandmeasurementsinothergeometriesarealsodescribed,althoughinlessdetail.Theambientdoseequivalent,H(10)asusedforareamonitoringofstronglypenetratingradiation,isnotanappropriatequantityforanybetaradiation,evenforthatpenetratinga10mmthicklayerofICRUtissue(i.e.Emax>2MeV).Ifadequateprotectionisprovidedat0,07mm,onlyrarelywillonebeconcernedwithotherdepths,forexample3mm.Thisdocumentisgearedtowardsorganizationswishingtoestablishreference-classdosimetrycapabilitiesforbetaparticles,andservesasaguidetotheperformanceofdosimetrywiththereferenceclassextrapolationchamberforbeta-particledosimetryinotherfields.Guidanceisalsoprovidedonthestatementofmeasurementuncertainties.
