【摘要】:Theserequirementscovercord-connectedorpermanently-connectedstationaryandlightindustrialelectrictoolsforuseinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70andprovidedwithameansfor:a)Groundingthetoolonabranchcircuitratednotmorethan600Vandemployingnouniversalmotorratedmorethan250V;orb)Providingdoubleinsulationforatoolonabranchcircuitinvolvingapotentialofnotmorethan150Vtoground.Theserequirementsalsocoveraccessoriesandattachmentsforusewithtoolsincludedin1.1iftheaccessoriesorattachmentsare:a)Identifiedbycatalognumberorequivalentproductdesignationintheinstructionmanualforthetool;orb)Packedwiththetool.SpecificrequirementsareoutlinedinSections84-87.Theserequirementsdonotcoveranyofthefollowing:a)Portabletools;b)Automatedmachinetoolsintendedforproductionlineuse;c)Garageequipmentwiththeexceptionofbenchtypebrakelathes;d)Paintingequipment;ore)Otherequipmentcoveredbyindividualrequirements.Astationaryorfixedelectrictoolintendedtoberemotelyorautomaticallycontrolled,orapermanentlyconnectedtoolintendedforcontinuousdutyarejudgedonthebasisofcompliancewiththerequirementsinthisstandard,insofarastheyareapplicable,andfurtherexaminationandtesttodeterminewhetherthetoolisacceptableforthepurpose.Theserequirementsdonotcoveraccessoriesorattachmentsthat:a)Arenotpackedwiththetool;orb)Arenotidentifiedbycatalognumberorequivalentproductdesignationintheinstructionmanualprovidedwiththetool.Accessoriesorattachmentsmentionedinmini-catalogsorflyersmayormaynotbeprovidedwiththetool.
