【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheminimumoperationalandperformancerequirements,methodsoftestingandrequiredtestresultsconformingtoperformancestandardsnotinferiortothoseadoptedbytheIMOinResolutionMSC.192(79).(MSC.192/2)Theradarinstallation,inadditiontomeetingthegeneralrequirementsassetoutinresolutionA.694(17)andtherelatedgeneralstandard,IEC60945,shouldcomplywiththeperformancestandardsofMSC.192(79).WhenarequirementofthisstandardisdifferentfromIEC60945therequirementinthisstandardtakesprecedence.AlltextinthisstandardwithwordingidenticaltothatinIMOresolutionMSC.192(79)isprintedinitalics.ReferencetoMSC.192(79)isbytherelevantrequirementclauseasindicatedinbrackets,forexample(MSC.192/4.2.3).SomeclausesfromResolutionMSC.192(79)maybesplitandtherequirementsinthiscaseareaddressedseparately.(MSC.192/5)Thedesignandperformanceoftheradarshouldbebasedonuserrequirementsandup-to-datenavigationaltechnology.Itshouldprovideeffectivetargetdetectionwithinthesafety-relevantenvironmentsurroundingownshipandshouldpermitfastandeasysituationevaluation.(MSC.192/1)Theradarequipmentshouldassistinsafenavigationandinavoidingcollisionbyprovidinganindication,inrelationtoownship,ofthepositionofothersurfacecraft,obstructionsandhazards,navigationobjectsandshorelines.Forthispurpose,radarshouldprovidetheintegrationanddisplayofradarvideo,targettrackinginformation,positionaldataderivedfromownship’sposition(EPFS)andgeoreferenceddata.TheintegrationanddisplayofAISinformationshouldbeprovidedtocomplementradar.ThecapabilityofdisplayingselectedpartsofElectronicNavigationCharts(ENC)andothervectorchartinformationmayalsobeprovidedtoaidnavigationandforpositionmonitoring.Radarisatechnologythatshouldbeappliedtogetherwithothersensorinformationapplicableforthetaskinhand.NOTERadarisasystemanditsperformanceisafactorofallofitscomponentparts.Thetypetestshouldincludetheradarsensor,ancillaryunitsanddisplay,completewithitsprocessingandpresentationdisplay.Allofthesecomponentpartscontributetotherequirementsandapprovaltotheseradarstandards.Othernavigationalsystemsandequipmentthatprovideradarand/ortargettrackingfunctions,shouldcomplywiththerelevantclausesofthisstandardaccordingtotheguidelinesinAnnexA.AnavigationdisplayorINSmaybeapprovedaspartofaradarsystemwhentestedwiththespecificradarsensorandrelevantancillaryunits.Wheretheintendedapplicationforanavigationsystemisforcollisionavoidance,asaminimumrequirement,theradarimageshouldalwaysbepresented,togetherwiththerelevantfunctionalityandperformanceasdescribedinAnnexA.1.1Purpose1.2Applicationofthesestandards1.3Equipmentcategories
